How to Install pev software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pev software package provides text-based tool to analyze PE files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pev

pev is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pev package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pev *

You will get with pev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
